Pound finishes the year up

Sterling looks to be enjoying a strong end to the year, with exchange rates improved for those of you sending money abroad in most currencies. We currently have the cheapest rates for buying US, Canadian and New Zealand Dollars this year, and Euros this month. With no major data due out today and a bank holiday in much of the world tomorrow, consider booking yourself a rate today and starting off 2014 knowing that you have a decent price locked in for your currency.

2013 has been a year of recovery for the UK economy and to some extent for the Pound. Whether 2014 will bring consolidation, or whether the European and US economies will catch up and bring the Pound back down to earth, is anybody’s guess at the moment, but the team at Currency Index look forward to providing our service and rates to save our clients money through the year regardless.
