Economical Statistics Dominate

Yesterday, Sterling dropped slightly against the EUR. This is despite euro economical statistics coming out on PPI, yesterday and positive news released by the UK regarding PMI Construction.
Yesterday was a quiet day regarding news flow but are anticipating further news flow later on this week.
Still some uncertainty regarding quITALY and the standpoint of their political stance but hoping for some further information regarding future talks and a potential insight.
Today There is a speech being held by Sir Jon Cunliffe a member of the MPC. Also, we will see some interesting points released by Europe; Germany, Italy, Spain and France all release Markit services PMI. If these releases are above expectation it can have a Negative effect on GBP/EUR rates so make sure you stay informed with your current Specialist to stay on top of any movements and take advantage of any spikes/ dips.
In Germany a speech is set to be held today by Dr Jens Weidmann, president of the Deutsche Bundesbank, he is also a member of the governing council of the ECB.
For our clients across the pond some interesting releases by the US today regarding Markit service PMI and Markit PMI Composite. Also, we will see some New released regarding ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI.
