Exchange rate update – Monday

The Pound has had a little movement against major currencies today, in particular we have seen an improvement of over 1c in US Dollar exchange rates. Against the Euro, gains this morning have come back this afternoon, leaving the rate for Euro money transfers the same as first thing this morning.

The Pound has also gained nearly a percent against the Thai Baht, giving the best rates for money transfers to Thailand in over a month.

There is no major data due out this afternoon, apart from ECB President Draghi’s speech at 5pm.
